Why To Study in Spain?

Spain is one of the world’s oldest cultures with a rich heritage that has influenced entire continents. Layer after layer of color and noise lead you to taste and smell the essence of this place: a mixture orange blossoms and fresh seafood from the pier. It is the birthplace of the Spanish language, Pablo Picasso and Miguel Cervantes, and attracts millions of people every year.

The Kingdom of Spain, as it’s officially known, is the second largest country in the EU – with an area of 505,955 square kilometers, Spain covers about 85 percent of the Iberian Peninsula, which it shares with Portugal. From top to bottom, Spain includes some of the world’s most intriguing cities. You can follow the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostela and head south to the Alhambra fortress in Granada or take in the sun on the costa del sol in Andalucia.

When compared with other destinations, the great advantage of Spain for the foreign student visitor is its standard of living, which is considerably cheaper than other European and western countries. Spain’s pleasant lifestyle, mild climate and the wealth of stimulating and varied cultural opportunities to be found throughout the country are the key to its popularity. Madrid is an obvious choice for study abroad in Spain if you want a hip and cosmopolitan base to call home. Whereas, if you want a little bit more seaside while studying in Spain, check out Barcelona.

Spain is one of the cheapest countries. If the average price in Europe is 100, the cost in Spain is 88. Spain is also among the European countries with the lowest price variation.
